Shine Like a Diamond

You can also shine through whatever situation you are experiencing.

Think of the extreme pressure a diamond goes through before it shines and the transition that takes place before it's purchased by someone who recognizes its worth. A diamond is still a diamond from the beginning, what we may say rough/ugly stage. If it doesn't go through the pressure and heat/fire for purification, it's potential for radiance will never be discovered.Just the same, if we stay fixed in the principles of true morals and values(like a diamond), we find the answers to any problem, the opportunity in opposition and use the stumbling block as a stepping stone.

Situations in life come for us to change and with that comes growth and elevation. Then and only then can one see our true radiance unfold. We have a bad habit of rolling around in the mess that we've made or blaming someone else for what we've allowed, instead of looking at it and cleaning it up. Our destiny is determined by our decisions.Just like a diamond, it's not what we go through, it's how bright we shine as our integrity is maintained. And if one has lost value, like many people have, serious self evaluation is necessary in order to correct self. This Isa process and little makes much....step by step....inch by inch.

Relationships-Reason, Season or Lifetime!

Have you ever befriended someone and discovered that they pop in and out of your life during certain times of the year? Well, I have. When people come into your life, it is always for a purpose, never doubt that. There is something for you to depart unto them as well as receive.

Ask yourself, "Is this person in my life for "a reason", "a season" or a "lifetime"? When you know this, you will make a wise decision on who to let go and who is valuable enough to hold on to. Also, grasp the learning experience in every situation regarding relationships with people, whether short or long term....but please let go of those that serve their term or are of no value. You will save yourself peace of mind.

And as for this person who pops in and out of my life only when they want something, I've learned a lesson, now it's time to let go. It's about the Whole You-Holisticallyu.

HOLIDAY GIVING SHOULD NOT JUST BE FOR THE HOLIDAYS!

When the "HOLIDAY SEASONS" come around, many people seem to have more compassion for others. They are more willing to lend a helping hand and give of themselves to ease the stress/burden of someone else. Don't forget, they also spend more money and buy gifts, gifts, gifts.

There is nothing wrong with having compassion, lending a helping hand and buying gifts for those special people in your life. The problem is, it shouldn't have to take a "SPECIFIC TIME AND SEASON" of the year for one to do these acts of kindness. If this is what people need in order to be more loving and giving, then I feel the "HOLIDAY SEASONS" should be all year round. This would make the world a better place to live because selfishness isn't in the hearts of people....NEVER!

STOP! WASTING YOUR LIFE BY WASTING TIME!

If you aren't already in your senior years, would you like to look back over your life when you approach that time, with "REGRET"? Of course not! I'm quite sure we all have some things in our past, if given the opportunity to go back and do "IT" all over again, we would make wiser choices, thus having a better consequence for today concerning that matter.

BUT WAITE JUST A MOMENT! STOP! I MEAN, STOP WASTING YOUR LIFE BY WASTING TIME even thinking about the things you are not able to change. If there are some situations you can change for the better, STOP! WASTING YOUR LIFE BY WASTING TIME thinking about the situation "AS IS"....it is already what it is....get starting on what you are going to do to make it better. I mean, MOVE INTO ACTION, after you've mapped out in your mind ways you improve the situation......and don't give up until you see the desire you've had in your mind manifest.

Like Nike...."Just Do It"

You at your best when you rest!

Many of us work so hard to make a living, we are losing our lives. We think less sleep is required in order to get the "job done" effectively. This is so far from the truth. There is a time for everything and rest has its time. Everyone is fortunate to have 24hrs. in a day, but, and I'll say just to make you feel a little better, at least 6 hrs. is needed to rest the body of daily activities.

Rest is a time for the mind and body to unload and dump all the waste of the daily duties out of the system and just be still and at peace, thinking of nothing...... Just relaxing, and this is when rejuvenation and restoration comes. It is good to get the most important things done first for the day before you get ready for bed. This way those things are not on your mind before you retire for the evening.
Always remember that no one can get everything done in one day and those things that are the waiting list can do just that, wait for tomorrow.
